Bin Transporter

The Bin Transporter is a 4-wheel-steer trailer for hauling bins of parts between buildings. The Bin Transporter is an adaptation of Flat Bed Transporter, designed to haul up to 40,000 lb. This was developed for a customer who needed to transport bins, 42″ wide x 39″ deep x 42″ tall, of parts that needed to be protected from the weather when moving between buildings.  It uses a similar box frame with internal reinforcement to take serious abuse. 

The heavy duty kingpin casters use dual 12″ x 5″ polyurethane tires rolling on tapered roller bearings.  Linked 4-wheel steering provides easy maneuverability in tight areas.   It has a hinged tongue for towing with a tugger.  The transporter is enclosed with sheet metal on the top and ends and has roll-up doors on both sides that can be opened for forklift access.  The transporter holds up to 20 bins.
